Hatha Yoga: Yoga in the traditional Integral Hatha style {supramental}.  This well-balanced yoga class includes centering, core strengtheners, seated, standing and balance postures, demonstrated at varying levels to accommodate all physical abilities. The emphasis is on proper physical alignment and using breath to increase the connection between mind, body, and spirit. This class is suitable for all levels, from beginner to advanced. 

Praise Yoga:  This class is open to all. Yoga means the union of mind, body, spirit. It comes from the root word, yoke. Jesus said, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me…” Matthew 11:29    A prayerful yoga practice focusing on the breath as we draw nearer to God, giver of life. As we breathe the breath of God-glorifying Him in our body as we practice the spectacular ancient science of yoga. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”  Psalm 150:6   Yoga improves health and brings wellness to the body, mind, and spirit.  Praise and worship and gospel music are similar in their message, Praise Yoga’s music used will vary, {Christian, Contemporary, Gospel, hymns, Southern Gospel and urban contemporary} with focus on praising God’s name, His work, testimony, or stories from the Bible.

Restorative Yoga:   {Extremely gentle, slow-moving, meditative, relaxation with mindfulness}  restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar.   Practicing restorative yoga can help to heal the physical body, provide the conditions for emotional wellbeing, calm the mind and be a space for connecting to your spirituality or personal values. It’s a whole package and each benefit can boost the others. Restorative yoga sessions are a practice of learning to be gentle and compassionate with oneself. We offer Restorative Couples Sessions,  Private, or Group.  Although a solitary practice, we’ll deepen the relationship with ourselves and our partners.  This class is suitable for all levels. 

   Seasoned Adult: Yoga For Actively Aging  A gentle, low-impact way to loosen muscles, increase flexibility and improve range of motion in stiff or achy joints, especially those affected by conditions such as arthritis, relief from chronic pain using breathing techniques and slow movements.  Tone and strengthen muscles to help prevent injuries, and build op the body’s immunity. A calming and restorative practice designed to relax both your body and mind. 

Seasoned Adult Stretch: Chair and/or Floor, Stretching and Breathing Exercises to offsets decline in joint flexibility, enhances lengthening of a muscle and surrounding tissue, increases the range of motion. The class is intended to relieve tension, improve flexibility and leave you feeling relaxed and grounded. This class is suitable for all levels

Seasoned Adult: Restorative  Yoga slow-paced, using props {blocks, blankets, straps} Relive tension, improve flexibility.  This gentle class may include seated, kneeling and standing postures. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized. This class is suitable for all levels. The instructor offers detailed instruction and variations or alternative asanas to be mindful of the experience levels of the practitioner. Likewise, practitioners with physical abilities will be offered accommodations or alternatives.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga:                             A powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. synchronizes breath and asana, the postures are held for a few breaths or more to establish proper alignment as we build strength and stamina. The class is community friendly designed to be both challenging and accessible for beginners to seasoned practitioners.  This class is suitable for all levels.  

Wake Up and Move: Jump Start Your Morning, Boost Metabolism, Decrease Stress levels, Enhance Mental Clarity and Focus. Breathwork, Stretching and Strengthening. This class is suitable for all levels.  Vinyasa Flow to Relaxing Breath Pilates Yoga Blend Cool Down, then on your way or stay and join us for meditation.  Class is suitable for all 

                            Yin: Poses are held for 3 – 5 minutes.  The muscles stay soft and breathing is slow and mindful. The body remains still, the mind focused and calm. Replenishing Energy, Releasing Tensions, Enhancing Energy Flow, Enhancing Strength, Enhancing Health and Wellness, Enhancing Happiness.  Benefits of Yin: Effective relieve of anxiety, stress, discomfort, insomnia, and depression. Learning to breathe deeply and mindfully for strengthening of the immune system to improve and aid recovery. Increasing joint flexibility, allowing for better posture, and freedom from aches and pains. Yin Mediation is a therapeutic practice that allows our physical body and mental self to completely relax. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, fully rested with a reduction in your stress level

        Yoga for Every-Body: Breath, Pilates, Yoga Meditation, Fusion,   No BS {body shame} Offering asana modifications and accommodations, yoga tools {bolsters, wheel, pillows, blocks, straps yoga balls and blankets} Adaptations for persons with injuries.  Looking to establish or advance your practice, come be encouraged to gradually improve alignment, tone, balance, and flexibility at your pace. This 2/3’s fitness 1/3 meditative class is suitable for all body types and fitness levels, from beginner to advanced.
